Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fatoora application provided by Zayn Consulting F.Z.E ("Fatoora", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Fatoora is a cloud invoicing and accounting tool for UAE freelancers and small businesses. It helps you issue FTA-compliant invoices, track VAT and Corporate Tax estimates, record expenses and bills, reconcile bank statements and generate reports. Fatoora is a software tool and does not constitute tax, legal or accounting advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscription and billing
Fatoora is offered on a subscription basis at AED 79 / month or AED 790 / year (two months free), following a 14-day free trial that requires no card. At the end of the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the data and content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purposes;
- attempt to access data belonging to another company or user;
- probe, scan or circumvent security or access controls;
- disrupt or overload the service, or resell it without authorisation.
6. Compliance responsibility
Fatoora assists with tax computations and document formatting, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of your filings and for meeting your obligations with the Federal Tax Authority and other authorities. Estimates (e.g. Corporate Tax) are indicative and not a substitute for professional advice.
7. Intellectual property
The Fatoora application, its design and software are owned by Zayn Consulting F.Z.E and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; no other rights are granted.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted subject to legal retention.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the competent UAE courts, without prejudice to any mandatory Free Zone jurisdiction.
